Recently I’ve been lucky enough to work on a private commission of upcycling a selection of a client’s scarf collection into cushions.
This is at the centre of the My Foolish Heart ethos, as it means something that is unworn and unused is being loved again. Too many times we throw beautiful things away because it has outlived its original reason for existence.
Three scarves and a tiny Liberty print handkerchief were backed with colourful cotton canvases, stuffed with their pads and zipped up, ready to be shipped to Harrogate, the lucky owners new abode.
